Merry Christmas!

Ty is just about ready to roll over.

He's a talker...just like his mom.

Ty's first visit with Santa. We rode the train with Uncle Michael...not sure if he liked it or not.

16 weeks

Tyson is 16 weeks old today. I really can't believe it. He is getting so big. He was 15.2 lbs a couple weeks ago. We go to the doctor tomorrow and I'm pretty sure he's closer to 16 if not more now. He's going to bed around 8pm every night and has been sleeping 10-11 hours for the past week. Who knows if that will last, but it makes us happy for now. Here are some updated pictures and videos. Tyson LOVES Dancing with the Stars...

He's playing with his toys now.

I'm sure he'll kill me for this, but Matt & I think he's so funny when he's trying to go potty.

10 Weeks

Tyson is 10 weeks old today. That's very hard to believe. Things are going really well. We're started to get on a schedule which is always good. He is changing so much everyday. He's going to be a thumb sucker, he's just about mastered it. He talks and smiles more and more everyday. Here are some current pictures.

8 Weeks Old & Back to Work

Well I'm back to work today. I can't believe it's been 8 weeks since Tyson was born, it's gone so fast. Tyson is now about 13 pounds and growing everyday. He's always smiling (when he's not asleep). I have to say I have a very good baby. He's quiet just like his dad and very dramatic just like his mom. Here are a few pics and a couple videos I've taken recently.

36 Weeks

Well we've made it to the 9 month mark...only 4 weeks to go. It seems as though time is offically standing still. I guess because I could have 2 weeks or 6 weeks and the not knowing is the hard part. I am ready for baby to make it's arrival. The babies room is now all ready to go, bags are packed...so now we wait. All in all, I can't believe that it's almost over (well the being pregnant part). I'm just getting very excited to meet the little one. I went to the doctor last Friday and have offically gained 47 lbs. I am VERY swollen, so I tell the doctor it's all water weight..haha. I now start going to the doctor every Friday. I'm hoping my next post will be introducing you to baby McClain.

Here I am at 36 weeks...

Here are some pics of the finished room...

We're very excited to add some pink or blue clothes to the wardrobe...

Baby Shower - June 29th

I had my shower on Sunday. Let me start by thanking both Stephanie & Toni, who once again went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Also, thank you to everyone who came. I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. Matt & I both sat back last night after putting everything together and could not believe what wonderful things we received.
Thanks again to everyone.

32 Weeks

We're in the home stretch now. 8 weeks to go. Since 28 weeks I've been going to the doctor every 2 weeks and that will continue until 36 weeks when I start going every week. Between 28-30 weeks I only gained 1 pound (music to my ears). Between 30-32 weeks I gained 4 pounds...who knows why it is so different. Lord knows I don't do anything different. To date I've gained 38 pounds.
The baby is flipping and moving all the time. Last week I started feeling actual body parts poke out. Not sure what it is but the doctor says the baby is head down.
I have my first baby shower this weekend, I'm very excited for that. Not a whole lot else going on. I had Matt take a picture of me on Sunday (that would be why my hair is up and I have no make-up on...haha)

28 Weeks

12 weeks to go, I can't believe it. A few new things have happened this month. I started my birthing classes. My mom is going with me since Matt has to work and they only offer them from 7-9pm on the weekdays. We've only had one, but I think it will be good information. I went to the doctor on Friday for my 28 week appointment. I thought for sure I wouldn't gain as much weight as the months before even though it had been 5 weeks because I've been walking with Inka 1.5-3 miles a day. Ha..I still gained 9 pounds. Yes I have officially gained 33 pounds. She said it should start slowing down now - but I heard that last time to. Oh well the babies healthy and that's all I care about.
We put up the curtains in the babies room this weekend, it is so cute. We're getting our glider this weekend. Once we get that I'll post some pics. I think that's about it.

6 months!

Friday I hit 24 weeks, 6 months. Hard to believe. At times it goes by fast and at other times I feel like I have a long way to go. For now I think we'll just enjoy the quiet nights at home and sleeping in on the weekends.

The babies room

Here's a little update with what's going on in the McClain house. We have put together the crib and changing table. Joni and my dad were nice enough to let us use the ones they had for my sisters and brothers. It's in great shape and matches geat. Matt and I put together the changing table with no problem, when we got to the crib, since we had no directions, we just sat there looking at it. Lucky for us my dad came over and put it together. We are missing a couple peices that make the rails stay up, he'll be coming back to finish it later. Of course I couldn't wait, so I washed the sheets and made the bed. I love it. I can't wait to have everything set up and the room all done, but I'll give it some time.
I will hit the 6 month mark this Friday, I've grown a lot this last 4 weeks. I will update again on Monday with some more pics.

Half Way

Well we've made it to half way. It's almost hard to believe. I've started to feel the baby move around now. Usually it only lasts a few seconds at a time. Because all of you that are reading this are family and friends, I think it's safe to admit that as of half way I have gained 16 pounds. A little frighting but I guess that's just part of it. I can no longer squeeze into any of my pants, although I tried as long as I could. I am also no longer working at the pub...last Wednesday was my last day. As happy as I am, I know I'll miss the extra cash...someday.

Here I am at 16 weeks...

Here I am at 20 weeks (by the way I had just woke up when I made Matt take this pic)

Ultrasound - 19 weeks

Matt and I went this morning for our one and only ultrasound (hopefully). They'll only do another one if there are problems. It was awesome to see the little one moving around, and boy was it moving around. It's hard to believe I really can't feel it yet for as active as it is. We're a week away from halfway. YIPEE! We stuck to it and did not find out the sex. I can't wait for the surprise...although Matt would rather know. He's sure it's a girl. Here are a few pics from today.
